Saturday June 26, 2021 marked an unforgettable day of glory and recognition of worth of a 51 years old ace journalist, Olorundare James Enimola of Daily Independent Newspaper for being consistent in his astute reportage.
It was a day internationally acclaimed Rotary Club of Ota 9110 District presented Olorundare James Enimola with Award of Appreciation in recognition of his media support of the Rotary Club, in the presence of who is who in Ogun State.
This happened during the handing over ceremony by old Executives of Rotary Club of Ota, District 9110 to incoming Executives held in Ota.
The outgoing President of the club for 2020/2021 tenure, Rotarian Fine Doris Funke Salary, described the Awardee, Enimola as "a committed journalists with rare breeds".
In his felicitation comment, the Federated Chapel Chairman, Ogun State Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Lanre Adegboyega who led other journalists to the venue of the award ceremony said "Enimola is worthy to be celebrated".
The highly elated celebrated Award Winner, Olorundare James Enimola, in appreciation to all and sundry, says "I'll like to appreciate God for this 'Award of Appreciation' from a group of worthy individuals, professionals and philanthropists who deemed it honourable to appreciate a striving journalist and constant reportage. It's highly inspiring and encouraging to me".
