Tenant Kill Landlord, Rob Him Of His Vehicle

Homicide Detectives from Lagos State Police Criminal Investigation Department, Yaba, are currently investigating the case of two suspects who allegedly murdered their landlord and also robbed him of his vehicle.

TheCaveat.info garthered that the police also recovered from the running away suspects 50 rounds of live ammunition inside a sack of Garri in a Motor park.

A security source told TheCaveat.info that the crime was discovered on 24th July, 2019 at about 5.00am during a stop and search duty by policemen from Iba Police Station.

It was gathered that at First gate, Agboroko area, Iba the policemen flagged down a Toyota Camry which was driven in a reckless and suspicious manner by the two suspects namely Daniel Isaac ‘m’ 38 years old and Emmanuel Chukwu ‘m’ 36 years old.

Further investigation revealed that the first suspect, Daniel Isaac killed his Landlord Don Able ‘m’ 50 years old from Rivers State and dumped the corpse in a well, inside his compound at Owodun Street Area, Ikotun.

The Lagos State Police image maker, DSP Bala Elkana who confirmed the story said the suspect was escaping with the robbed vehicle of the deceased along with his accomplice Emmanuel Chukwu, when they were intercepted.

Elkana said the intention of the suspects was to go and sell the car, adding that they have since confessed to the commission of the crime and that they would soon be charged to Court.
